Great article on tubeless wheels very interesting to see how they work and what options available.
Interested to see you rode Zipp 404s. I have a set and have had significant amount of punctures-front wheel, from rim tape slipping. I run 110-120psi and have used zipp specific rim tape and more recently zefal cloth tape to see if that would help-no joy. As soon as I ride out of the saddle rim tape seems to slip and the tube is exposed to the spoke holes. Any advice as a previous Zipp user? Thanks
It may be worth placing electrical insulating tape over the rim tape to help hold it in place . It should not be slipping in the first place , but this should help resolve the problem .
